1. Create your API key
Sign in to the platform and open API keys. Create a key with a name you recognize, such as “Inventory service”. Copy the secret when it appears; it is only shown once.
Store it on your server as an environment variable:
export SELLRAZE_API_KEY='your-api-key'
Make sure your account has available credits in Billing. One successful analysis costs one credit.
2. Choose your photos
Use public HTTPS URLs for 1–6 JPEG, PNG, or WebP photos of the same item. Start with a clear front view, then add a label, alternate angle, or detail photo if helpful.
The URLs below are placeholders. Replace them with your own reachable image URLs. For uploads without your own image host, use the playground. See image requirements for size limits.
3. Send a request
Choose your language. These examples call the API from a terminal or server; keep your API key out of browser code.
curl https://api.platform.sellraze.com/v1/analyze \
--request POST \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $SELLRAZE_API_KEY" \
--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--header 'Idempotency-Key: item-501-analysis-001' \
--data '{
"images": [{ "url": "https://example.com/item-front.jpg" }],
"hint": "Levi’s 501 jeans, size 32x30",
"currency": "USD"
}'
// Run on your server. Keep this key for retries of this item.
const idempotencyKey = "item-501-analysis-001";
const response = await fetch(
"https://api.platform.sellraze.com/v1/analyze",
{
method: "POST",
headers: {
Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.SELLRAZE_API_KEY}`,
"Content-Type": "application/json",
"Idempotency-Key": idempotencyKey,
},
body: JSON.stringify({
images: [{ url: "https://example.com/item-front.jpg" }],
hint: "Levi’s 501 jeans, size 32x30",
currency: "USD",
}),
signal: AbortSignal.timeout(100_000),
},
);
const result = await response.json();
if (!response.ok) {
throw new Error(`${result.code}: ${result.detail}`);
}
console.log(result);
# Install requests with: pip install requests
import os
import requests
# Keep this key for retries of the same item and payload.
idempotency_key = "item-501-analysis-001"
response = requests.post(
"https://api.platform.sellraze.com/v1/analyze",
headers={
"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['SELLRAZE_API_KEY']}",
"Idempotency-Key": idempotency_key,
},
json={
"images": [{"url": "https://example.com/item-front.jpg"}],
"hint": "Levi’s 501 jeans, size 32x30",
"currency": "USD",
},
timeout=100,
)
response.raise_for_status()
print(response.json())
Use a unique Idempotency-Key for each new analysis. Keep the same key and payload if you need to retry that analysis. The example key is illustrative; do not share it across different items.
4. Read the result
A successful request returns 200 OK. The following is an illustrative response; names, prices, and comparable sales will depend on your item.
{
"item": {
"name": "Levi's 501 Straight Leg Jeans 32x30",
"brand": "Levi's",
"condition": "good",
"condition_notes": "Light fading; no visible stains or holes.",
"defects": []
},
"pricing": {
"currency": "USD",
"suggested_price": 3500,
"confidence": "medium",
"basis": "sold_comps",
"sold_comps": [
{
"name": "Levi's 501 Original Fit Jeans 32x30",
"marketplace": "ebay",
"sold_price": 3299,
"currency": "USD",
"sold_at": "2026-09-10",
"source_condition": "Pre-Owned",
"listing_url": "https://www.ebay.com/itm/123456789"
}
]
},
"usage": { "credits_charged": 1 }
}
Prices are integers in the currency’s minor units: 3500 USD means $35.00. suggested_price is a suggested listing price. It is not a guaranteed sale price.
